Lake of the meeting, the meeting of the waters, Matagami in Algonquin, is off nearly 14 km long by 43 km for a total area of 236 km². This vast waterway is a unique tourist attraction for our northern region.In sailing, canoe or kayak discover the lake and its many sandy beaches, deemed among the most beautiful in Quebec.Matagami stretches, a few kilometers south of the water table of the same name, on the west bank of the Bell River. The Matagami Lake represents the meeting point of rivers Allard, Bell, Gouault and Waswanipi.
